The
little Elephant
A herd of elephants
were crossing a flooded river. When the head elephant saw a danger he trumpeted.
As one little elephant was few weeks old and could not understand could not understand
the signal. He was scared to cross the river as it was flooded. Once he heard
his mother’s trumpet he understood and followed the sound. He swam towards the
sound and did not give up. He managed to cross the river safely. Everyone
appreciated the little elephant.

King Bruce and the spider
King of England defeated King Bruce of Scotland. After his defeat he went and took
shelter in a cave to save his life. He gathered his strength and collected his army
and fought again but was defeated. This went on for some time. While he was
sitting in his cave he saw a spider trying to climb the web it created. Many times
the spider fell down but it kept on trying. The spider attempted 17 times and
finally succeeded .He was surprised to see that spider did not lose hope.
Then king gave a thought if a tiny creature can do why not he.
He planned and brought his army together and wages a war with king of England.
This time he won the battle and regained his throne in Scotland.

The Magic Tinderbox
While returning from war a soldier met a witch. She said to him about a cavern chest
which had treasures. It was guarded by a dog. She taught the soldier a spell that can
control the dog. He found the chest , took whatever he could carry and also the
tinderbox that the witch wanted . He returned to her but instead of giving her
the tinderbox he killed her. Now he was a rich man. One day while walking in the
night he could not see the road hence he hit the tinderbox on the ground. As soon
he did this immediately the dog game and the dog started to listen to the soldier.
Suddenly one day he discovered the secret of the tinderbox. The soldier asked the
dog if he could see the princess who was held prisoner by her father the king .
The dog had magical powers and the dog flew to the kingdom and brought the
princess along with him. The soldier and the princess fell in love and married .
