beaded sofa

After 42 years did this small sofa using 3mm plastic beads. These are not available these days hence ripped my UFO and used the blue and read beads. now searching for more beads. It is ready for my navrathri golu need to create more items

Aakash Kandil - Sky Lamp [ Lantern]

I cannot beleive myself that I was able to create one of my dreams Aaakash Kandil [ Sky -Lantern]. Yes this is a practise in Maharashtra. During dewali almost all houses have this lantern.This is one of the decorative lamps that are hung with a help of a string to a pole or stick. This is placed in the front door of the house or verandah. Since people are staying in apartments - it is hung on the balcony. Hence let us share the spirit of light among ourselves. HAPPY DIWALI

This kandil consists of 12 parts which has been stitched/attatched together. Tutorial will follow

Nefla the alien

Nefla has come down to earth from zero planet. She is having a great time in this world. This is my first attempt in using embellishments.I have used brads for the eyes , nose and mouth. These brads are normally used in paper craft and art work. Please post your suggestions.

Ani the rag doll

I created this with the help of 24 peg roung daisy wheel or knitting loom. The entire body was knitted on the round wheel knitting loom. The hands and legs were knitted as a rib patter using size 6  long needles. With the help of acrylic paint - painted the eyes, nose and mouth. This was gifted to my friends daughter who had come from Abu Dhabi for a vacation. The doll measures 16 inches long from head to toe

La Annaconda

Hello friends - presending my new creations. Annaconda that has come from the Amazon forests. I made this using the 6 peg daisy wheel. Please do drop by .It will not hurt anybody.
