WIP blue - yellow laptop cover

Hi, after a long time , I am posting my knit work. This is knit in round in straight needles. I have used blue and yellow. Long way to go. This is for the mini laptop. Hope to complete in time

WIP 2 multi colored sweater

While browsing you - tube , I just got stuck to this pattern. It is called as Raspberry stitch. There are 3 variations to it, but basically the purl and knit stitches are same.The pattern has an embossed effect. Immediately I just remembered Heidi of Heidi Bears as she just adores these sort of stitches. I liked her picot edging pattern.Sharing the same , I just have started and a long way to go .

I am using a circular knitting needle and I have this problem.The twine or the cord attatched with the needles are not straight. I would appreciate if you can suggest some remedies so that I can make the cord straight. Your help will be appreciated.
