Demon Trinavart

Demon Trinavart
Kans was angry as he came to know that his killer was born in Gokul. Hence he ordered people to
kill all new-born babies in Gokul. He sent the demon Trinavart to act accordingly. Trinavart went
to Nanda’s place and saw that Yashoda was carrying a small baby Krishna. Suddenly Yashoda felt the baby’s weight was increasing and she could not keep him in his lap. She placed Krishna on the
ground and went inside to do her household chores. Trinavart saw this as an opportunity and transformed himself into cloud and created a big cyclone. The entire area turned black and immediately Trinavart with his power and speed carried Krishna with him. He also could not bear the heavy weight of the baby. Krishna started to press the neck of the cloud and ensured that Trinavart could not breathe. So Trinavart finally fell on the ground and died, he became a rock in Gokul. Now people were worried and started to search for Krishna. They were shocked to see that Krishna was playing on the body of the dead demon. They took him immediately and were happy to know that Trinavart was dead. Hence Kans first attempt to kill Krishna failed.

Krishna and Balarama

Krishna and Balarama
Kans was a cruel king some thousands of years ago. While he was travelling along with his sister Devaki, he suddenly hears a voice from heaven. It said that the eighth son born to her will be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu who will be born to kill him one day. Hence Kans imprisoned his sister and her husband Vasudev. Vasudev’s first wife Rohini was staying with his friend Nanda in Gokul. When Devaki was pregnant the seventh time GOD transferred the unborn child from her body to that of Rohini. This boy born was named as Balarama. When the eighth child was born every one in Mathura went on to a deep long sleep. The river Yamuna was in spate .Vasudev took this child and went to Gokul to replace this child with the child born to Yashoda. As soon he reached the banks of the river, the river became silent by the touch of the baby’s leg. Hence Vasudev went and completed the job and bought back the baby girl child to Mathura. Now Mathura came to life as soon the baby girl reached the prison and began to cry. Soon Kans came to kill the child, as soon as he lifted the baby in his hand; the baby flew from his hands and said that his killer was born in Gokul. Kans was angry and disappointed. The baby born to Yashoda and Nanda was named as Krishna. He along with his brother Balarama Killed many demons
