Namaskaram - salutations

Namaskaram - salutations I dedicate my blog to the enormous art lovers across the globe I love knitting so much that I have started a blog for knitting.Knitting is a job that I will like to go on.Through knitting I breathe life into many people's life. It is knitting time. When I want to relax I do it with knitting. I am a knitting buff.I love to do knitting on various topics. There is no way that you can stop me doing knitting.I am born with a flare for knitting. My face brightens once I touch the knitting needs. The electronic media has helped knitting to travel across the world.Every stitch made will talk about how knitting has influenced people.I have done some and would like to share it with you. Some patterns have been taken from free knitting sites. Some designs have been created by me. Many a times I have modified the patterns to suite my requirements. Finally I can say that I breathe knitting, I talk knitting, I walk knitting - a total knitaholic

Liebster award 2

It was a great surprise for me , as I have received an award this festive season. THANKS a ton , no words to express. This award was given to me by from aishwarya of aishwaryasworld. It was so sweet of her to give me this award during festive time.

She posted 11 questions and I am answering it . All the questions are too dear to my heart. I went through my memory lane of my life.

1.      The last time you laughed really hard
When I went to Hogenakal falls with my Priya office staffs. I have been to this place 4 times and would like to go one more time

2.      A holiday you'll never forget
It was in the year 1971, when my maternal Grandfather late Narashiman took us to Srinkeri. The fishes on the Narmada river was very exciting and we useed to feed them churmure/pori. We stayed there for 4 days and had darshan of the swamiji of Srinkeri Sankara Mutt

3.      Something that really shocked you
I was really shaken up on my mother’s death. I felt my life empty. I lost a good companion who always guided me.

4.      Something you have been longing to do or learn
Crocheting, I wanted to learn this to do doilies. Finally learnt this technique from Rekha’s fashion design School

5.      One past incident that you would like to change
Wish did not go to Mumbai in the late sixties, but had no other option as father was transferred to Mumbai. Learnt the harsh realities in life.

6.      The last time you cried your heart out
When my younger sister died in March . She was the only being who was with me for 53 years. we shared so many things in life. It is like my entity has gone.

7.      Your best creation/project so far
Knitted a baby dress for Shreya, Kantha's granddaughter who lives in USA

8.      Your inspiration
My LATE parents – who taught me values in life. They still they keep me motivating me from the sky.

9.      Your view on New Year Resolutions. Name one if you plan to make
Resolutions are made to be broken hence do not keep one. Will follow life as it comes

10. How do you take care of yourself, your health... It’s important. Health is all wealth
As I am a vegetarian I do not eat heavy stuff. I eat regularly. I do not follow any diet pattern, hence no restrictions. Yes will go and meet my doctor to take his advice.

11. Your fondest childhood memory
When my dad used to take me and my sister out at 10 pm and gave us kulfi from the pot that was served on a badam leaf, opposite to Juhu Park .Even now my mouth is watering

This is what I have to share about my self . Please do visit my blog as motivation is a learning process.
